Description

Short: Delphyr — the deep whispers. Dig to the last living core of a dead world — a 2D action roguelite where every death sends you home to the family whose bond the Deep cannot break.

Long: Delphyr is a dig-to-the-core mining roguelike. You play a lone dwarf descending through a living, fully-destructible underworld — carving your own tunnels toward the core while the earth collapses behind you. Channel dwarven spellcraft to survive: Tremor Blast to shatter walls, Blink Dig to phase through stone,Cave Call to bring the ceiling down on what's chasing you, and the Sunmotemini-sun to hold back the dark. Hurl your pickaxe like a boomerang, grapnel across yawning chasms and up to floating sky-islands, raid themed mini-boss warrens for gleamstone and sealed vaults, then retreat to your floating cloud base to upgrade before the next descent. Every dive is different. The only way out is down.

About the developer

Delphyr is the work of Collin Schreyer, a self-taught solo developer building in Unity. It began as a side project — an experiment to see what he could make — and grew into a love letter to the games he grew up on: the hookshot of Ocarina of Time, the deep-digging pull of RuneScape and Minecraft, the heart of Undertale, the scrap of Smash Bros. Delphyr folds exploration, story, character progression, and real difficulty into a single descent — with a dwarf hero cut from the same cloth as Gimli. Follow the build in public on the devlog and across social.
