Welcome to the Deep
I’m building Delphyr — a dig-to-the-core mining roguelike where you carve your own path down through a living underworld, and the dark digs back.
The pitch in one breath
You’re a dwarf with a pickaxe and a problem: everything good is down, and the ground doesn’t want you there. You tunnel toward the core, the earth collapses behind you, and the only way to survive is to get better at digging, fighting, and running than the deep is at swallowing you.
It’s the satisfying crunch of mining games, wired into the “one more run” pull of a roguelike.
Why solo, why public
I’m making this alone, in Unity, and I’m building it in the open. This devlog is where the real work goes — new mechanics, art that worked, art that didn’t, and the stuff that breaks the night before I want to show it off.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, the best way to follow along is to wishlist on Steam (it genuinely helps the game get seen) and check back here.
More soon. We’re only a few meters down.
Enjoying the dig? Wishlist Delphyr on Steamso you're notified the moment it launches.
